personal copyrights whether or not their works are published by us.
For all published items, copyrights revert to the poet, author, or artist upon publication.
When we publish a previously unpublished work, we require first serial electronic and print
copyrights, plus the right to reprint the work in our compilations and
online archives. When we publish a previously published work, we require first serial
electronic and print copyrights which the author or artist is free to give and
which do not violate the copyrights of the original publisher(s), plus the right to reprint the
work in our compilations and online archives. For graphic art, including
photographs, we have the same, parallel, requirements as for written works of art. We require
exclusive rights only for a one month period starting with first publication in any one of
our webzines. After that one month period, our rights are entirely non-exclusive.
If you submit a work published before, please cite the publication by name and the year of
publication. By submitting a work to us, you attest that the work is not the result
of plagiarism, and that you have the personal copyrights to the work and are not violating any
other publication arrangement with any publisher or other party. You agree to hold harmless
Denis M. Garrison for any violation of
copyright caused by your misrepresentation in these respects. If publishing the work would
possibly violate any other copyrights, discuss the details of the situation in the note
which accompanies your submission to us.
