morning sun and snow
      white curtain
            ensemble

 

February

suddenly white boats
are whiter in the dark
Sound-sweeping storm

 

March

spring at the pond
mourning cloak butterflies
ruby crowned kinglets

 

April

Sea Cliff harbor --
spring fog floats
a silk screen

 

May

late afternoon sun
new goslings
nibble beach grass

 

June

ancient tapestry
outside the window screen
catkin tassels

 

July

all these insects
flying from the night
to the bathroom wall

 

August

dog days
something in the air
        itches

 

September

in the blue floored room
looking out as summer dies ~
        medication time

 

October

kitchen window
            early sunset
                through bottles

 

November

I don't want to leave
cold peach sky
at dinner time

 

December

ice storm
fiberoptic Christmas
            tree
