The practice of combining haiku poems with paintings, called haiga, is blossoming into a multiform art of graphic poetry. You should expect to find mainly haiku poetry at haiga websites, but tanka is making its way into the artistic mainstream as well.

HAIGA Online is "a journal of painting and haiku poetry inspired by the Japanese art form known as 'haiga'." You must see this truly beautiful ezine edited by Linda Papanicolaou.

Reeds: Contemporary Haiga, edited by Jeanne Emrich - "an annual online anthology of fine art inspired by the Japanese genre known as haiga or haiku painting."

A Haiku and Photography Webpage by Ray Rasmussen. "This webpage is about Japanese haiku poetry expressed with landscape photography. The landscape setting is the Kurimoto Japanese Garden, Devonian Botanic Garden, University of Alberta, Edmonton and Devon, Alberta, Canada."

Modern Haiga published issues in 2008 and 2009. It's annual boards of editors accepted submissions year-around. It published graphic poetry in an online annual collection, from which an annual print edition (a full-color perfect bound book) was selected. Modern Haiga 2008 was named Best Graphic Poetry Book in The Montserrat Review's "Best Books for Spring, 2009." The journal closed in 2010.
